Could you be our next Referee or Match Supervisor?

We intend to launch multiple new Football For Good Leagues into communities nationwide throughout the season, each year.

For every League to operate it’s crucial we appoint both a Referee and a Match Supervisor who together will effectively manage the League and its teams.

Become part of a national movement

Because we have great ambition we are always on the lookout for Referees and Match Supervisors to join our ever-growing team. If you are interested in either role and are successfully offered the job, then we will endeavour to appoint you to your nearest League in operation.

We pay you a fixed hourly rate and also supply all the equipment needed including balls, bibs, cones – and all our Referees are kitted out in uniform, which we provide.

THE AVAILABLE ROLES

Match Supervisor

As a Match Supervisor, your role will be to ensure all teams know how to find the playing venue, to meet and greet teams on arrival, ensure the league fixtures are completed each week, and to check teams have completed their payment before playing. You will also manage any customer service enquiries as they occur, and be required to collect the match scores from the Referee each week and ensure they are sent through to the National Leagues Co-ordinator each week, reporting any general feedback or observations.

Referee

As a Referee, your role will be to ensure all matches kick-off on time as scheduled, and are played in line with league rules. You will also ensure that player conduct is maintained throughout every game, and report match scores to the Match Supervisor each week after all games have been played.

Street Soccer League Match Supervisor

Part-time / Contract

Overview
The Street Soccer Foundation is a national award-winning sport-for-change charity based in Maidstone, Kent and operating nationally across England.

Alongside our national Street Soccer Academy programme, the Street Soccer Foundation runs ‘Street Soccer Leagues’ across England: the UK’s first Adult 5-a-Side Football Leagues with a Social Heartbeat, with 100% of match fees going towards social good causes.

Unique to the Street Soccer Leagues, monies from player participation are used to help continually fund the delivery of Street Soccer Academy programmes nationwide, supporting vulnerable and disadvantaged young people across England, as well as other charitable endeavours related to tackling major social issues.

Bringing together teams of working professionals and the general public from across the country, representing organisations large and small, the Street Soccer Leagues offer a unique opportunity for businesses and individuals to meet and network whilst looking after their health and wellbeing – and at the same contribute to positive social impact.

Matches are played 42 weeks of the year (3 x 14-week seasons), with a minimum of 8 teams in each operating League nationwide.

At each league site we will have a Match Supervisor to facilitate the running of the league, and to support a qualified Referee to manage the games each week. Both the Supervisor and Referee will also be supported by, and report into, the National Street Soccer Leagues Coordinator.
